Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cups fresh spinach (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Italian herbs to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Boil salted water in a large pot and cook jumbo pasta shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add diced chicken seasoned with salt and pepper; cook until golden brown (7-10 minutes).
  3. Stir in minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). If using spinach, add it now until wilted.
  4. In another saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, then stir in heavy cream. Simmer gently and gradually add grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Fill each pasta shell with the chicken mixture and arrange them in a baking dish. Pour Alfredo sauce over the top and sprinkle with extra cheese if desired.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for about 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
