  • 2 tbsp heavy cream

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  • Make the Cake Batter:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cocoa powder, and sugar.
    • Add the softened butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until smooth and well combined.
    • Gradually add the boiling water, mixing until the batter is thin and well combined.
  • Bake the Cake:
    • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
    • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
    • While the cake is still warm, sprinkle the mini marshmallows evenly over the top.
    • Return to the oven and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes until the marshmallows have softened and slightly puffed.
  • Prepare the Topping:
    • In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate chips, butter, and heavy cream together over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
    • Remove from heat and stir in the powdered sugar.
  • Finish the Cake:
