  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Thyme and rosemary to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add ground meat, browning until fully cooked. Stir in carrots and peas, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; season with thyme and rosemary. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Prepare mashed potatoes if not using leftovers; ensure they are creamy but spreadable.
  6. Spread the meat mixture in a baking dish, top with mashed potatoes, smoothing them out evenly.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until golden brown. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
