- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup colorful sprinkles
- Frosting (store-bought or homemade)
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round baking pans.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in half of the colorful sprinkles.
- Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cooling completely before frosting and decorating with remaining sprinkles.
