Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  • Make the Brownie Batter:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth.
    • Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
    • Add the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder, stirring until just combined.
  • Prepare the Peanut Butter Swirl:
    • In a small bowl, mix the peanut butter with the powdered sugar if you prefer a sweeter swirl. Warm the peanut butter slightly in the microwave (10-15 seconds) for easier swirling.
  • Assemble the Brownies:
    • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
    • Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture on top of the brownie batter. Use a knife or skewer to create swirls by dragging it through the peanut butter and brownie mixture.
  • Bake the Brownies:
