  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and chocolate chips until smooth.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner facing you. Spoon 2 tablespoons of filling onto the center. Fold up the bottom corner over the filling.
  3. Tuck in the sides tightly and roll away from you until fully wrapped. Moisten the top corner with water to seal.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F. Fry 3-4 egg rolls at a time for 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with powdered sugar or your favorite dipping sauce.
