Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp pure honey
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: chop garlic and green onions. Set aside.
  2. Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and garlic. Add chicken pieces and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Cook the chicken: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through (5-7 minutes per side).
  4. Create the sauce: Pour leftover marinade into the skillet after cooking chicken and simmer until thickened (3-5 minutes).
  5. Add sesame seeds: Stir in toasted sesame seeds just before serving. Serve over rice or noodles, garnished with sliced green onions.

Keywords: Swap soy sauce for gluten-free options like tamari if needed. For a spicier kick, add crushed red pepper flakes to the marinade.
