Lavender lemonade is a refreshing summer drink that blends floral notes with zesty lemon for a delightful twist. Perfect for picnics or backyard gatherings, it’s sure to impress.

Ingredients

  • 46 Fresh lemons
  • 2 tablespoons Dried culinary lavender buds
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar or honey
  • 3 cups Filtered water (or sparkling water)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Brew the Lavender Infusion: Boil 2 cups of water, add dried lavender buds, and steep for 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Lemon Juice: Juice fresh lemons to yield about 1 cup of juice. Strain to remove seeds and pulp.
  3. Combine Sugar and Water: Mix 1 cup of sugar with 1 cup of water in a saucepan over medium heat until dissolved to create simple syrup.
  4. Mix It All Together: In a pitcher, combine strained lemon juice, cooled lavender infusion, and simple syrup. Stir well and adjust sweetness if needed.
  5. Add Water and Chill: Pour in 3 cups of cold or sparkling water, mix again, and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving over ice.
