Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
  • Cook the Ground Beef:
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into crumbles with a spoon, about 6-8 minutes.
    • Add the diced onion and garlic and cook for another 2-3 minutes until softened.
    • Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Prepare the Sauce:
    • In a bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and milk. Mix until smooth.
  • Assemble the Casserole:
    • Spread the cooked ground beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
    • Layer the frozen mixed vegetables on top, if using.
    • Pour the soup mixture over the beef and vegetables, spreading it out evenly.
    • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
    • Arrange the tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
  • Bake the Casserole:
