  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat; let cool slightly before whisking in eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. Let cool completely before slicing into squares.
