  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  2. Transfer sautéed onion and garlic to the crockpot. Add diced potatoes and sliced sausage.
  3. Pour in chicken broth to cover ingredients. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley; stir well.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in cream or milk and let warm through.
