Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Chop broccoli into bite-sized pieces and mince garlic.
  2. Cook pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
  3. Sauté chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper; cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from pan.
  4. Add garlic and broccoli: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and broccoli florets; sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant and bright green.
  5. Create creamy sauce: Pour in heavy cream and stir in grated Parmesan until melted and smooth; season with salt and pepper.
  6. Toss it all together: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet along with drained pasta. Toss everything together until well-coated in sauce, adding reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
