  • 2 cups fresh green cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1 cup ground pork (or turkey/tofu)
  • 2 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 20 dumpling wrappers
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the chopped cabbage, ground pork, soy sauce, green onions, ginger, garlic, and cornstarch until well combined.
  2. Place about one tablespoon of the filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Wet the edges with water and fold to seal tightly.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  4. Fry dumplings in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. For the dipping sauce, combine soy sauce with a splash of rice vinegar and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  6. Serve warm with the dipping sauce on the side.
