  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Beat in eggs and vanilla until combined.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the pan. Spread cherry pie filling over the crust. Crumble remaining dough on top.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Let cool before cutting into squares.
