  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 can (15 oz) creamed corn
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Add diced onions halfway through cooking until translucent.
  2. Drain excess grease and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the tater tots. Spread the ground beef mixture evenly on top, followed by creamed corn and half of the cheddar cheese.
  4. Top with remaining tater tots and finish with more cheddar cheese. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  5. Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with green onions.
