  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, oats, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in M&Ms and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets with space between them.
