  • 2 tsp sesame oil (plus more for cooking)

  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Wash broccoli thoroughly and cut it into bite-sized florets.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together gochujang paste, soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), sesame oil, and minced garlic.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli florets and sauté for 3-4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender.
  4. Pour the prepared sauce over the sautéed broccoli and toss until well coated.
  5. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Serve immediately on a platter, garnished with toasted sesame seeds.
