  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop garlic and basil.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Crush canned tomatoes into the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and simmer until heated through.
  5. Boil salted water, cook gnocchi according to package instructions (2-3 minutes), then drain.
