  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  3. Mix in eggs and vanilla until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, combine sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  5. Press half of the dough into the bottom of the prepared dish. Layer with apple filling and crumble remaining dough on top.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbling. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
