  • 2 cups cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with half of the mozzarella and Italian seasoning until well combined.
  3. Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Layer half of the tortellini over the sauce, then add half of the remaining marinara sauce.
  5. Sprinkle half of the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
  6. Repeat layering with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
