  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped

  • ½ Asian pear, grated (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Slice the beef thinly against the grain and add it to the marinade. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to overnight).
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with 1 tablespoon of oil. Add marinated beef in batches and sauté until browned and caramelized (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. Stir in chopped green onions during the last minute of cooking. Serve hot over rice or in lettuce wraps.
