Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface maintaining its rectangular shape.
  3. Spread crumbled blue cheese evenly over the pastry, followed by chopped walnuts and fresh thyme. Press down lightly.
  4. Starting from one long edge, tightly roll the pastry into a log shape.
  5. Slice the log into 1-inch thick pieces and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Brush each twirl with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
