  • 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 package (17.3 oz, 480g) frozen puff pastry sheets (2 sheets), thawed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg + 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in half of the shredded cheese until melted.
  4. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface; cut into squares large enough to hold the beef mixture.
  5. Place a generous scoop of beef mixture on each square, fold corners over to seal, and brush with egg wash.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
