  • 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese (whole milk)
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (fresh)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 lb ground turkey or beef (lean)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking sheet.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground meat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  3. Spread half the marinara sauce on the baking sheet, layer with half the lasagna noodles.
  4. Add dollops of ricotta cheese followed by half the mozzarella and another layer of marinara sauce.
  5. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients, finishing with mozzarella on top.
  6. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing into squares.
