  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, milk, and eggs until mixed. Add to dry ingredients and stir gently until combined.
  4. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl for the filling.
  5. Pour half of the dough into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture on top. Add the remaining dough and finish with the rest of the filling.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
