  • 1 cup fresh or dried cranberries, chopped
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Warm milk to lukewarm and combine with sugar and yeast. Let sit until foamy (5 mins).
  2. Mix in flour, salt, butter, and cinnamon until combined. Knead dough on floured surface for 5-7 mins.
  3. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled (about 1 hour).
  4. Prepare filling by mixing cranberries, orange zest, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle (¼ inch thick). Spread softened butter on top and sprinkle with filling.
  6. Roll tightly from one edge into a log shape and slice into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F and arrange rolls in a greased baking dish. Allow to rise for another 30 minutes while you sip coffee.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Drizzle with icing made from powdered sugar mixed with a splash of milk.
