  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 oz)
  • 1 lb beef roast (chuck or brisket)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sear the seasoned beef roast for about 4 minutes per side until browned.
  3. Add beef broth, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer for about 2 hours until tender.
  4. Shred the cooked beef with two forks.
  5. Separate and flatten each biscuit. Place shredded beef and a slice of provolone in the center of each biscuit.
  6. Fold over the biscuits to encase the filling and place them on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
