Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter until creamy; add milk and eggs one at a time until smooth.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture without overmixing.
  5. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl; spoon half the batter into each liner, add the cinnamon mixture, then top with remaining batter. Swirl gently.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
