  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken by patting it dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil until combined.
  3. Place the chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil if needed and cook the marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F).
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and pour in leftover marinade; simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  6. Slice the chicken, drizzle with sauce, and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
