  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Juice of 1 lemon (about 3 tbsp)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp in a single layer, cooking for 2-3 minutes until pink on one side; then flip them over.
  4. Sprinkle paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper on top, then squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked through.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving immediately with rice or crusty bread.
