  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.

  3. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and heat through (2-3 minutes).
  4. Add reserved pasta water, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes; simmer until slightly thickened (2-3 minutes).
  5. Toss in drained linguine until well coated in sauce (1-2 minutes).
  6. Remove from heat and mix in Parmesan cheese and chopped basil. Serve warm.
