Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

  3. In another bowl, whisk together warm water, honey (or maple syrup), and olive oil (or melted butter) until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients while stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
