Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract until smooth. Combine with dry ingredients without overmixing.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips gently.
  5. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. For the frosting, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until fluffy; add milk gradually until smooth.
  7. Once cooled, spread frosting over the bars and cut into squares.
