  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Sauté the onion and bell pepper in olive oil over medium heat until softened (5-7 minutes).
  3. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, sautéed vegetables, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Fold in the mozzarella cheese.
  5. Shape the mixture into a loaf in the greased pan and top with ketchup.
  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
