  • 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Red food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish by lining it with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. In a large bowl, combine red velvet cake mix and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until creamy; mix in melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips and optional red food coloring into the red velvet mixture.
  5. Spread half of the red velvet mixture into the prepared pan; dollop cream cheese mixture on top and swirl with a knife.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 25 minutes until set but soft; cool completely before refrigerating for at least two hours.
