Instructions

  1. Slice the onion and mince the garlic.
  2. Optional: Sear the chuck roast in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned on all sides.
  3. Place the roast in a slow cooker and layer with onions and garlic. Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over everything.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4 hours.
