  • 14 oz firm tofu (extra-firm)
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 medium red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup fresh green beans (trimmed)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 2 tbsp chili paste (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu between paper towels for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut into bite-sized cubes.

  3. Add sliced bell pepper and green beans, cooking until slightly tender (around 3 minutes).
  4. Gently place tofu cubes into the pan, stirring occasionally until golden brown on all sides (about 5-7 minutes).
  5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, chili paste, brown sugar, and lime juice. Pour over the tofu and vegetables.
  6. Toss in Thai basil leaves just before serving and sauté briefly until wilted.
