- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 4 cups filtered water
- 3 black tea bags
- ½ cup sugar (or sweetener of choice)
- Ice cubes
- Rinse and pat dry 1 cup of fresh blackberries.
- In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of filtered water to a boil. Remove from heat and steep 3 black tea bags for 5 minutes.
- Stir in ½ cup sugar until dissolved while the tea is warm.
- Mash half of the blackberries into a chunky puree and combine with brewed tea in a large pitcher. Add whole blackberries for extra flavor.
- Refrigerate for at least an hour until thoroughly chilled and serve over ice.
