  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 3 black tea bags
  • ½ cup sugar (or sweetener of choice)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Rinse and pat dry 1 cup of fresh blackberries.
  2. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of filtered water to a boil. Remove from heat and steep 3 black tea bags for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in ½ cup sugar until dissolved while the tea is warm.
  4. Mash half of the blackberries into a chunky puree and combine with brewed tea in a large pitcher. Add whole blackberries for extra flavor.
  5. Refrigerate for at least an hour until thoroughly chilled and serve over ice.
