  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (plus more for topping)
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into approximately 20 meatballs (about 1 inch each) and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs for about 15 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. In a large baking dish, pour some BBQ sauce on the bottom, arrange the baked meatballs on top, and cover with additional BBQ sauce.
  6. Place biscuit dough over the meatballs and return to the oven for another 10-12 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top during the last few minutes of baking until melted.
