  • 1 lb pork sausage (or turkey sausage)
  • 2 cups whole milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled (5-7 minutes).
  3. Stir in milk, garlic powder, and paprika; simmer until slightly thickened (3-4 minutes).
  4. Cut biscuits into quarters and layer half in the baking dish. Pour half of the sausage gravy on top.
  5. Add remaining biscuit pieces and pour the rest of the gravy over them.
  6. Whisk eggs with salt and pepper; pour over casserole. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
