  • 2 jalapeños, seeded and diced
  • 1 medium red onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped

  • 1 tbsp honey or sugar (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cranberries under cool water. Halve the jalapeños, removing seeds if desired for less heat.
  2. Finely chop the red onion and cilantro separately.
  3. In a large bowl, mash the cranberries slightly with a fork until chunky.
  4. Add the chopped onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and honey/sugar to the bowl; mix well.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for grilled meats.
